Our Characters.
Veronica is a woman on the streets who is trying to find her place in the world. She’s done with living in a shelter and wants to start fresh. She’s been living on the streets for about a year now and she’s beginning to feel like she’s at home. One day, she comes across a sign that says, “Please open the door.” Veronica decides to take the chance and go inside. Her first stop is a homeless shelter, where she meets some of her new friends.

In this series, we will explore life on the streets. We will be looking at different aspects of life on the street, from crime to housing to food. We will also be interviewing people who have experienced homelessness or street homelessness. This series is about understanding and living with homelessness – not just about providing services.
